Our LEED Certified Green Building
Our LEED Certified Green Building
At Congregation Beth David we take great pride in our LEED Certified synagogue—the first of its kind in the world — completed in 2006. Designed by local architectural firm the San Luis Sustainability Group, this green building has many features that help protect the environment and conserve energy. Thus, our synagogue embodies the Jewish doctrine of tikkun olam (repairing the world) by having minimal or no environmental impact while meeting the needs of a growing congregation.
